Actualización y revisión de las estratificaciones. Las estratificaciones de las viviendas deberán mantenerse permanentemente actualizadas. Al menos cada cinco años deben someterse a revisiones generales, o cuando ocurran eventos extraordinarios que alteren de manera sustancial sus características, y en todo caso, cuando el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística DANE produzca actualizaciones de la información básica para los procesos de estratificación.
