Art.17. La cuenta de El Tesoro se acreditará con todas aquellas sumas que definitivamente se causen a deber a favor de la Nacion, sea en dinero, sea documentos, i de cuya responsabilidad no pueda librarse el respectivo deudor sino a virtud de pago, condonación, &.ª No debe pues figurar ni al débito ni al crédito de esta cuenta el valor de los remates que, conforme a las leyes, puedan ser desertados por los rematadores.
