De las colecciones de muestras biológicas y relacionadas con la salud humana existentes con anterioridad a esta ley . A excepción de las colecciones forenses del Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal las colecciones biológicas y de muestras relacionadas con la salud humana deberán radicar ante el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social la solicitud de constituirse como un biobanco o la ratificación de constituirse como una colección por fuera de un biobanco.
