Art. 28. Los responsables del Erario que residan en la capital de la República, rendirán sus cuentas mensuales el día último del mes siguiente al que correspondan; y los de fuera de la capital remitirán las suyas, cuando más tarde, por el primer correo posterior al día último del mes siguiente á aquel á que se refiera la cuenta. Las cuentas generales se rendirán á los dos meses de terminado el bienio económico.
