Tratamiento de residuos o desechos peligrosos con riesgo biológico o infeccioso. En el Manual para la Gestión Integral de Residuos Generados en los Servicios de Salud y otras Actividades se establecerán los procedimientos y requisitos que se deben tener en cuenta al momento de realizar el tratamiento de los residuos con riesgo biológico o infeccioso, con el fin de garantizar la desactivación o eliminar la característica de peligrosidad, evitando la proliferación de microorganismos patógenos.
