Las personas que quiera introducir al país reproductores o artículos, de los que trata el artículo 1º de la presente Ley, podrá hacer el pedido por conducto de cualquiera de las sociedades de agricultores que funcionen con carácter oficial o del Banco Agrícola Hipotecario, y obtendrá por este medio, para dichos reproductores o artículos, las exenciones que para ellos se conceden por el mismo artículo 1º Las mencionadas sociedades y el Banco Agrícola tienen derecho a fijar la cuantía de las sumas que para verificar los pedidos deban ser consignadas anticipadamente.
