El Juez de Menores será nombrado por los Tribunales Superiores de las capitales de los respectivos Departamentos, para un período de dos años, y gozará del mismo sueldo que tengan los Magistrados de los Tribunales Superiores en el respectivo Distrito.

Cada Juez tendrá dos suplentes.

Durante las vacaciones judiciales desempeñará el Juzgado el respectivo suplente o un interino nombrado por el Gobernador, y devengará el mismo sueldo del principal.
