Diploma. El diploma que acredita el otorgamiento de la medalla Militar “Campaña del Sur”, lleva las firmas del Presidente, Vicepresidente y Secretario del Consejo de la Medalla, debe ser elaborado en papel cartulina o pergamino blanco, de treinta y cinco (35) centímetros de largo por veinticinco (25) centímetros de ancho, con el escudo del Comando General en colores en la parte superior y con la siguiente leyenda:
