De acuerdo con la Junta Directiva del Banco de la República, el Gobierno procederá a recoger las monedas de plata de 0.900 de ley que hay en circulación, para reacuñarlas según especificaciones dichas en el parágrafo del artículo anterior.

Parágrafo

Es entendido que el valor representado por las monedas reacuñadas de acuerdo con este artículo no excederá al de las monedas recogidas para reacuñación.
