Para celebrar los arreglos y contratos definitivos a que se refiere el artículo 6o. de la Ley 30 de 1929 , el Gobierno puede, dentro de las autorizaciones que le confiere dicho artículo, dar en arrendamiento el ferrocarril de Santa Marta, acordar las tarifas de transporte, y transigir y compensar los derechos que la Nación tiene sobre esta empresa, en la forma en que lo estime más conveniente, con el fin de obtener la propiedad inmediata de ella.
