Cuando la explotación económica de las minas adjudicadas, redimidas a perpetuidad o adquiridas por accesión u otro título semejante, una vez iniciada, se hubiere suspendido durante más de un año continuo por las mismas razones señaladas en el artículo anterior, el interesado deberá comprobar el Ministerio de Minas y Energía las causas invocadas para suspenderla. El Ministerio previa investigación de las circunstancias alegadas, dictará la correspondiente resolución y, si fuere el caso, suspenderá o restituirá los términos por el tiempo que considere prudente.
