Son causales para la destitución del Auditor General

Incurrir en algunas de las incompatibilidades establecidas en las leyes, decretos y estos Estatutos;

Haber sido condenado por infracción penal, y

Violar gravemente una cualquiera de sus obligaciones legales, reglamentarias o estatutarias.

Parágrafo

En los casos previstos en este artículo, la destitución del Auditor General deberá ser solicitada por el Consejo Directivo mediante acusación motivada y firmada a lo menos por siete (7) de sus miembros al Presidente de la República.
