El que con el fin de obtener para sí o para un tercero el precio de un seguro u otro provecho ilícito, destruya, oculte o deteriore objetos asegurados de su propiedad, incurrirá en prisión de seis meses a. tres años y en multa de veinte a dos mil pesos. El que con el fin expresado, se cause a sí mismo una lesión personal o agrave voluntariamente las consecuencias de las que sin su intención o culpa le hubieren sobrevenido, incurrirá en la mitad de tales sanciones.
