Inmediatamente, después de terminado el escrutinio, los Registradores Municipales, bajo su responsabilidad, deberán conducir personalmente y entregar contra recibo a la respectiva Delegación Departamental, todos los documentos que las comisiones escrutadoras hayan tenido presentes (actas de escrutinio de las mesas de votación, registros de votantes, paquetes de papeletas, etc.), lo mismo que el registro de escrutinio levantado por aquéllos. La Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil reconocerá el valor de los transportes y los correspondientes viáticos.
