Las participaciones que de acuerdo con la ley correspondan a los municipios por concepto de explotación de recursos minerales se liquidarán mensualmente por el Ministerio de Minas y Energía y salvo norma especial en contrario, serán pagadas directamente a las respectivas tesorerías municipales dentro de los diez (10) días siguientes al recibo de la correspondiente liquidación.
