El Gobierno elegirá el personal que deba quedar en el Ejército entre el que actualmente está en servicio.
El tiempo de servicio militar, sea obligatorio ó voluntario, no podrá pasar de dos años. Los militares que hubieren cumplido este período tendrán derecho á pedir su licenciamiento.
