El arqueo de que tratan los artículos 1481 y 1487 se calculará así: En las naves con propulsión mecánica, sobre el tonelaje neto de registro aumentado en el tonelaje de arqueo correspondiente a los espacios de la maquinaria de propulsión, tal como los mismos son definidos por los reglamentos de la autoridad marítima.
