Para efectos del artículo anterior, se aplicará el Sistema de Clasificación Industrial Internacional Uniforme (CIIU), adoptado por Colombia, y revisado por el Departamento Nacional de Estadística -DANE- vigente al momento de realizar el proponente su inscripción, actualización o renovación en el Registro Único de Proponentes.
