Art. 6° El cambio de billetes deteriorados se hará en la Oficina Central en los días y horas que prefije el Jefe de ella, y de modo directo, esto es, que los interesados presentarán la suma cambiable, y la Oficina les entregará otra igual en billetes de buena calidad y de tipo análogo. Allí se llevará cuenta especial de este cambio, y los fondos que se destinen á él se remesarán directamente por la Junta de Emisión á la Caja de la Oficina Central, la cual, á su vez, remitirá al fin de cada semana al Tesorero de aquella Junta los billetes cambiados, á fin de que sean incinerados.
