Articulo 5. º La Intendencia de Casanare se divide en tres Provincias, á saber: La de Arauca, compuesta de esta población, que será su cabecera y el Municipio La Arauquita La de Orocué, con cabecera en este Municipio, que tendrá además las de Maní, Crave, Santa Elena y Trinidad. La de Tamare, que, además de este Municipio comprenderá los de Chámeza, Chire, Lope; Marroquin, Moreno, Muneque, Nuquia, Pajarito; Pore, Samaca, Tame y Ten.
