Art. 142. Si no pudiere verificar el requerimiento de que habla el artículo 140, por no presentarse la parte ó su apoderado en el Despecho de l respectiva Secretaría durante tres días, el Secretario extenderá una diligencia en que haga constar esta circunstancia, con expresión de la fecha, diligencia que puede extender en papel común, y, transcurridos tres días más, se procederá en los términos del artículo que precede.
