Artículo Primero. Quien se encuentre cumpliendo pena privativa de la libertad, con posterioridad al 27 de enero de 1972, tendrá derecho a que se le abone un día de pena por cada tres (3) de trabajo o estudio cumplidos durante el curso del proceso o en el cumplimiento de la pena. No será aplicable esta medida a los reincidentes, ni a los delincuentes considerados dentro del proceso como de alta peligrosidad cuando esta circunstancia se haya hecho constar en sentencia respectiva.
