CLASIFICACION. Las providencias que se dictan en un proceso penal militar se denominan

Sentencias, si deciden el objeto del proceso, previo el agotamiento del trámite de la instancia o de la casación.

Autos interlocutorios, si resuelven un incidente o cuestión fondo en el curso de la actuación procesal.

Autos de sustanciación, si se limita a disponer cualquier otro trámite de los previstos por la ley para dar curso a la actuación procesal.

Resoluciones, las que se dictan para convocar los consejos verbales de guerra.
