Indemnización por muerte. A la muerte de un alumno de la Escuela de Formación de Oficiales o Suboficiales, en actividad relacionada con su preparación profesional o del servicio, sus beneficiarios, en el orden determinado en el artículo 158 del presente estatuto, tendrán derecho a que por el Tesoro Público se les pague una indemnización igual a doce (12) meses del sueldo básico correspondiente a un Subteniente o Cabo Segundo, según el caso. Si la muerte ocurriere en actos extraordinarios o meritorios del servicio, o en mantenimiento del orden público, la indemnización se pagará doble.
