Los integrantes del Cuerpo de Defensores Públicos contratados por el Ministerio de Justicia, responderán por las faltas en que incurran, conforme a las disposiciones consagradas en el Decreto 196 de 1971, además de lo estipulado en el contrato suscrito para desempeñarse como tal.
