No obstante lo dispuesto en los dos artículos anteriores, el Gobierno o la Dirección General podrá mantener en servicio activo .a aquellos Oficiales o Suboficiales que por sus calificaciones lo merezcan y cuando sus capacidades aún puedan ser aprovechadas en determinadas actividades. Cuando se trate de Oficiales, se requerirá concepto favorable de Junta Asesora del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional.
