Del término para tomar posesión del cargo. Dentro de los diez (10) días laborables siguientes a la fecha de aceptación de un nombramiento, la persona designada deberá tomar posesión del respectivo cargo previa presentación del certificado médico de aptitud. Este término podrá prorrogarse si el designado no residiere en el lugar, o por causa justificada a juicio de la autoridad no minadora, pero, en todo caso, la prórroga no podrá exceder le noventa (90) días y deberá constar por escrito. La no posesión dentro del plazo estipulado será causal de revocación.
