Los niveles jerárquicos de los organismos del Sistema Nacional del Deporte son los siguientes:

Nivel Nacional . Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Instituto Colombiano del Deporte - Coldeportes Comité Olímpico Colombiano, Federaciones Deportivas Nacionales y Comité Paralímpico Colombiano.

Nivel Departamental . Entes deportivos departamentales, Ligas Deportivas Departamentales y Clubes Deportivos.

Nivel Municipal. Entes deportivos municipales o distritales, Clubes Deportivos y Comités Deportivos.

Parágrafo

Las demás entidades de carácter público, privado o mixto que hacen parte del Sistema Nacional del Deporte, concurrirán al nivel jerárquico correspondiente a su propia jurisdicción territorial y ámbito de actividades.
