Como un homenaje de reconocimiento al Municipio de Guarne, por su patriótica participación en las campañas emancipadoras y por su ejemplar vida ciudadana, la Nación contribuye al desarrollo de algunas de sus obras urgentes, con la cantidad de doscientos cincuenta mil pesos ($ 250.000.00), así:

Para Casa Consistorial y Cárcel Municipal, ciento cincuenta mil pesos ($ 150.000.00).

Para el Hospital Municipal y Centro de Maternidad, cien mil pesos ($ 100.000.00).
