Al otorgar la sede principal y las subsedes, la Junta Directiva del Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte, Coldeportes, hará la designación de las diferentes disciplinas deportivas teniendo en cuenta una distribución equitativa que consulte la vocación deportiva regional y el interés popular de las mismas.
