º Para efectos de lo previsto en la Ley 20 de 1969 y en el presente Decreto, un yacimiento se reputa descubierto cuando mediante perforación con taladro y las correspondientes pruebas de fluidos, se logra el hallazgo de la roca en la cual se encuentran acumulados los hidrocarburos y que se comporta como una unidad independiente en cuanto a mecanismos de producción, propiedades petrofísicas y propiedades de los fluidos.
