Funciones. Corresponde a la Junta de Importaciones aprobar, total o parcialmente, aplazar o improbar las solicitudes para importar bienes comprendidos en la lista de licencia previa o en la de prohibida Importación en los casos señalados en el artículo 73 del Decreto 444 de 1967. En forma rotativa y por períodos trimestrales los miembros de la Junta de Importaciones con excepción del Director del Instituto, actuarán como asesores del Consejo Directivo de Comercio Exterior.
