Funciones de la Subdirección de Hidrocarburos . Le corresponde a la Subdirección de Hidrocarburos de la Dirección General de Hidrocarburos, las siguientes funciones

Calificar las licencias semestrales e individuales para la importación de bienes de capital y otros elementos destinados a la refinación, transporte y distribución de hidrocarburos.

Estudiar y emitir concepto sobre la capacidad económica y técnica de los interesados en adelantar proyectos de construcción de oleoductos de uso público.

Las demás que le sean delegadas por el Ministro de Minas y Energía.
