Como secretario de los Consejos de Guerra actúa generalmente el ayudante del oficial que desempeña las funciones de juez sustanciador. En el caso de que el ayudante no pueda concurrir, o de que el juez sustanciador no lo tenga, nombrará como secretario del Consejo a cualquier oficial inferior.
