El propietario o tenedor de vehículo que no constituya oportunamente los seguros ordenados en la Ley, o no los mantenga actualizados, sin tachones, borrones ni enmendaduras, será sancionado con multa equivalente a cinco (5) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes, por cada seguro que se encuentre en estas circunstancias.
