Artículo segundo. Autorízase al Gobierno Nacional para que en homenaje y reconocimiento a tan ilustre ciudadano, se asocie a la celebración del cincuentenario de la fundación del benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de la ciudad de Palmira, Valle, que tendrá lugar el día 3 de diciembre de 1981, y destacar así su meritoria obra.

Parágrafo

En desarrollo a lo dispuesto en el ordinal 20 del artículo 76 de la Constitución Nacional y de la Ley 25 de 1977 , el Gobierno Nacional hará los aportes necesarios para la adquisición de una máquina extintora de incendios con destino al benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de Palmira, Valle.
