Los certificados se denominarán "certificado de oro"; serán editados litográficamente; tendrán numeración en serie anual principiando por 00001; llevarán, una alegoría de propaganda minera nacional, y las firmas del Gerente del Banco de la República y del Cajero. En cada certificado se dejará constancia clara sobre si él permitirá adquisición de monedas extranjeras sólo para los grupos " preferencial " y "primero" o sin limitaciones de grupos.
