JEFES DE GOBIERNO PENITENCIARIO Y CARCELARIO. El director de cada centro de reclusión es el jefe de gobierno interno. Responderá ante el Director del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario del funcionamiento y control del establecimiento a su cargo.

Los empleados, los detenidos y condenados deben respeto y obediencia al director, y estarán sometidos a las normas de este Código y a las reglamentaciones que se dicten.
