Cuando la Empresa Colombiana de Petróleos haya solicitado en aporte únicamente parte del área declarada como de reserva nacional al tenor del inciso primero del artículo anterior, la zona no solicitada por la Empresa quedará a disposición del Gobierno para ser contratada de acuerdo con las leyes vigentes sobre la materia.
