º. Faltas absolutas y renuncias. Cuando ocurra falta absoluta o renuncia del representante de las Organizaciones No Gubernamentales de carácter Ambiental o de la Asociación de Secretarios de Agricultura, le sucederá el candidato que le siguió en votos en la respectiva elección, quien lo reemplazará por el tiempo que reste para completar el período. En caso de no aceptación o imposibilidad de cumplir la representación se efectuará nueva elección. Cuando la falta absoluta o renuncia sea del representante de las Corporaciones Autónomas Regionales, el Ministro del Medio Ambiente designará al sucesor teniendo en cuenta las listas de candidatos propuestas inicialmente por las Corporaciones.
