Dirección y administración del Sistema. El Sistema General de Riesgos Profesionales es orientado, regulado, supervisado, vigilado y controlado por el Estado, a través del Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social. Está dirigido e integrado por: a) Organismos de dirección, vigilancia y control

El Consejo Nacional de Riesgos Profesionales.

El Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, y de Salud. b) Entidades administradoras del sistema A.R.P.: 1. El Instituto de Seguros Sociales. 2. Las entidades aseguradoras de vida que obtengan autorización de la Superintendencia Bancaria para la explotación del ramo de seguro de riesgos profesionales.
