Art. 44. Para el efecto de celar el contrabando pasarán á la dependencia del Ministerio de Hacienda las embarcaciones menores que son de propiedad de la Nación; y si éstas no fueren suficientes para ese objeto, queda facultado el Gobierno para adquirir las que juzgare necesarias.
