Se entiende por Material Higiénico Sanitario el que por la naturaleza de su conformación y las características de sus componentes o de sus formas externas, impide la contaminación o contribuye a evitarla, bien porque no produce o genera reacciones con otros elementos o sustancia o por que facilita los procesos de limpieza y desinfección.
