La clausura temporal de la mina consiste en prohibir por tiempo determinado el ingreso de trabajadores a la misma, cuando se considere que sus condiciones de seguridad e higiene ofrecen peligro para la vida o la salud de éstos. La clausura podrá aplicarse sobre todo el establecimiento o parte de él.
