Los escrutinios se efectuarán el día hábil siguiente a la votación en el Despacho del Superintendente de Notariado y Registro, ante una comisión escrutadora integrada por el Viceministro de Promoción de la Justicia o su delegado, el Superintendente de Notariado y Registro o su delegado, un notario designado por la Unión Colegiada del Notariado Colombiano y un Delegado de la Procuraduría General de la Nación. Los resultados serán consignados en un acta, en la que se dejará constancia del escrutinio y se declarará la elección de los representantes principales y suplentes que hayan obtenido la mayor votación.
