Todos los trabajadores, sean particulares u oficiales, tendrán derecho ese día al descanso remunerado.

Parágrafo

Las personas que por razones del servicio, en los casos previstos en las Leyes 57 de 1926 y 72 de 1931, y en el Decreto número 1278 de 1931, estén obligadas a trabajar el 1º de mayo, tendrán derecho a un día de descanso compensatorio dentro de las dos semanas siguientes.
