Art. 15. La instrucción que se dé en las Escuelas primarias superiores comprenderá las siguientes enseñanzas: Lengua Castellana, Aritmética, Dibujo lineal, Geografía, Religión ó Historia Sagrada y los principios generales de la Constitución de la República.

No se recibirán en estas Escuelas vino á los jóvenes que presenten certificado de haber hecho con provecho los estudios correspondientes á las Escuelas elementales,
