Las operaciones de cabotaje deberán realizarse por las empresas transportadoras que se encuentren debidamente inscritas y autorizadas para realizar este tipo de operaciones por la Unidad Administrativa Especial Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN). Las naves y aeronaves destinadas por los transportadores debidamente inscritos ante la Unidad Administrativa Especial Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN), para realizar este tipo de operaciones, deberán tener autorizada su operación.
