Debido a los conocimientos especiales que debe tener el personal de máquinas y el personal técnico de Cubierta, tales como los Electricistas, Telegrafistas y Armeros deberá hacer estudios que determinen los Reglamentos en la Escuela Técnica Naval.

Parágrafo

Por lo riguroso del servicio de máquinas en climas tropicales y por la alta preparación técnica que debe tener este personal, el gobierno le fijará un sueldo mayor al asignado al personal del mismo grado en otros ramos.
