Las autoridades territoriales locales podrán adjudicar bicicletas que se encuentren inmovilizadas y lleven retenidas seis meses o más y que además no hayan sido reclamadas ni se encuentren en proceso de reclamación por parte de sus propietarios, a instituciones educativas del sector público y a los sistemas SITM, SITP, SETP y SITR. Para ello el Ministerio de Transporte reglamentará los mecanismos para la reintegración de bicicletas a la autoridad territorial local.
